Jorge is dedicated to giving back to his community and he is a volunteer on the United States Tennis Association. He is a member of the Executive Committee of USTA Midwest and Chair of the Delegates-At-Large Committee focused on improving governance processes. He serves on the USTA National Sport Science Commission as Chair of the Research & Innovation Team to promote tennis research that will enable new training programs for young players. He is a board member of the USTA Midwest Foundation. Previously, he served as Chair of the Adult Growth Team in the USTA Chicago District. He was selected as member of the Scientific Review Board of the US Department of Health & Human Services. He was Chair of the Governance Committee and member of the Board of Directors at OMNI Youth Services, a local non-profit supporting young adults suffering mental disorders and drug abuse.
