Iyad Dajani

Iyad Dajani received the B.A. degree in physics and applied mathematics, the M.S. degree in engineering science, and the Ph.D. degree in nuclear engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA. From 1993 to 1995, he was a National Research Council Postdoctoral Researcher performing research in nonlinear optics. He is currently the Principal Investigator for the Fiber Laser Beam Combination Program at the Directed Energy Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Albuquerque, NM, USA. He has been with the Air Force as a Laser Physicist for 19 years, and has also taught physics at the U.S. Air Force Academy. His current research interests include power scaling and beam combining of single-frequency and narrow-linewidth rare earth-doped and Raman fiber lasers. He is the holder of five patents and has more than 120 papers and presentations.
