In his PhD project he investigated the consequences of processing distractors of different strengths on representations in visual working memory. He returned to the lab to study visual perception and memory, in particular how sensory representations enter working memory. In 2021 he continues to work closely with the lab, using artificial neural networks and computational models to study visual memory.
