Ivan Tomasic

Ivan Tomašić was born in 1976. He received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia, in 2005. He is expected to defend his Ph.D. thesis in July 2013 at the same university. He is currently an Associate Researcher in the Department of Communication Systems, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. After graduation, he worked as a Research Engineer and Consultant for companies providing information technology solutions. From 2007 to 2008, he was with the Ruder Bošković Institute, Zagreb. He has been participating in scientific projects regarding wireless sensors, electrocardiology, and cloud computing. His research interests include knowledge discovery in data sets, industrial intelligent systems, high performance, and parallel computing, but it is mainly focused on electrocardiography and cardiac electromagnetism.
