Iva Johovic

I am a biologist with a background in ecology, biodiversity conservation, invasive and pest species management and aquaculture. I received my PhD in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology with Doctor Europaeus mention from the University of Ferrara, Italy (2019), preceded by a MSc in Ecology and Nature Preservation and a MSc in Fisheries Game Management and BA in Biology from the University of Zagreb. Before relocating to Vienna, Austria in 2019, I conducted research in Italy focusing on invasive species behaviour and ecology, as well as in U.K. and Czech Republic, funded by the Marie Curie Scholarship.
