Isaiah Deresa

Isaiah Deresa currently works as a cancer biologist in immune-oncology. His current research focus is in primary immunological assays, both in vitro and ex vivo. He is a member of a discovery and target validation group within the broader Research and Development team at Alector. His most recent publication is in the journal of Science Translational Medicine - 'The human naive B cell repertoire contains distinct subclasses for a germline-targeting HIV-1 vaccine immunogen,' work that was in collaboration with a talented team at the La Jolla Institute, the Scripps Research Institute, and more broadly the CHAVI-ID consortium.
