Isabela Neves Drummond received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from the Federal University of Ouro Preto, Ouro Preto-MG, Brazil, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in applied computation from the National Institute for Space Research, São José dos Campos-SP, Brazil, in 2007. She is currently an Adjunct Professor with the Federal University of Itajubá, Itajubá-MG, Brazil. Her main research interests are in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition, with emphasis on soft computing techniques and classification methods.
