个人简介
As a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at TU Darmstadt, I am working on a collaborative project funded by the German Research Foundation to unravel the intricate dynamics of the interaction between transport phenomena and wetting processes. This project aims to understand complex wetting in details and develop novel methods for manipulating fluid interfaces in various applications, such as coating, printing, and biomedical engineering.
I have a strong background in fluid mechanics, microfluidics, and interface engineering, with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. During my doctoral studies, I explored different strategies of passive interface manipulation in aqueous environments, and developed a new concept of open surface microfluidics through the engineering of surfaces at micro and nano scales. I also had the opportunity to visit UCL as a Visiting Researcher, where I learned new techniques for the fabrication of Nano-engineered surfaces for energy and healthcare applications.
During My Masters at IIT Guwahati I worked on a project of Board of Research in Nuclear Science, India, for the development of a general purpose CFD solver. I have expertise on performing multiscale multiphysics simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics, as well as I have good knowledge with ANSYS Fluent. I believe that I am very good with the numerical modeling of any fluid flow and heat transfer situations which has implications in the various fields of industry.
In the industry sector, my core competencies include quality management, heat balance analysis of thermal power plant, and computer-aided design (CAD), which I acquired during my previous work experience as an Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Power. I also hold certifications in value engineering, six sigma, and 5S methodology, which demonstrate my commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. I am passionate about advancing the scientific knowledge and innovation in the field of fluid and interface engineering, and contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient solutions for various industrial and societal challenges.
