Bio
Igor V. Nesterenko received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in computer science from the National Research University of Electronic Technology, Zelenograd, Moscow, Russia, in 1998.
He is currently a Lead Engineer with the Institute of Biomedical Systems, National Research University of Electronic Technology. He has more than ten years industry experience in medical devices development and certification. He had solved engineering problems in the projects of the first Russian automated defibrillator and the Russian ventricular assist device. His research interests include design of electrical defibrillators, mechanical circulatory support systems, and general problems of functional safety in medical devices.
