Ignacio Martínez received the MSc (2000) and PhD (2006) degrees in telecommunication engineering from the Aragon Research Engineering Institute (I3A), University of Zaragoza (UZ), Spain. He has been awarded as Best Thesis in Multimedia Services (2007), Best Junior Company (2014), Best UZ Patent (2017), Best Healthy Living Habits APP (2017) and Best Digital Health APP (2018). With +20 years of expertise, +30 published papers in scientist journals and +100 contributions to national and international events (+620 citations, +17800 readings and 4 first-decile JCR papers), has led +40 research projects related with new technologies and e-health standardization & interoperability. He is member of Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) "CTN139 IT e-Health" and of National Committee Experts for e-Health. His research interests include e-Health & telemedicine, R&D+i entrepeneur, Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, new innovative technologies and interoperability & standardization.
