Ichcha Manipur received the medical degree (MBBS) from the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Bangalore, in 2011, and the master of Medical Science and Technology (MMST) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, in 2015. From 2015 to 2018, she was a biomedical researcher with industry and involved in the analysis of microscopy images and also in single-cell experiments with droplet microfluidics. She received the PhD degree (Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow) at the Institute for High-Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR), National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Naples, where her research interests included the analysis of biomedical networks and single-cell omics data.
