Ian H. Law

Ian H. Law is currently an Assistant Professor of pediatrics at The University of Iowa, Iowa City. As a Pediatric Cardiologist with specialty training in electrophysiology, his interests encompass the mechanism and management of children and adults with congenital or acquired arrhythmias. His primary interest is in the area of arrhythmias that develop following surgery to correct or palliate congenital heart disease. Dr. Law is a member of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology and the American Medical Association. He is on the council for Cardiovascular Disease in the Young, which is part of the American Heart Association. He was the recipient of an American Heart Association grant to perform a randomized prospective study to investigate the prevention of arrhythmias following congenital heart surgery.
