I-Wei Lai (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering (GIEE), National Taiwan University, in 2011. He was with RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Since 2017, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University, as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include signal processing, optimization, and performance analysis for wireless communication networks. He was a recipient of the NTU-GIEE Best Thesis Award, in 2011, for his Ph.D. thesis, and is a member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society. He was recognized as the Exemplary Reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Communications, in 2014.
