Dr. Ivan Hubeny's main research areas are the radiation transport theory and modeling atmospheres and spectra of stars, accretion disks, and, recently, substellar mass objects such as brown dwarfs and extrasolar giant planets. He is also developing a program for multidimensional transport of neutrinos in core-collapse supernovae.
