I am a medical doctor, researcher and epidemiologist. I have been major in both medicine, statistic and epidemiology. As a doctor, I major in anesthesiology, and my subspecialty is anesthesia for cardiac surgery. I have boards for Korean Board of Medical Examiners, Korean Board of Anesthesiology, Korean Board of Echocardiography and Subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine. As a researcher, I have studied preclinical, clinical, epidemiologic research. I have special interest in the research methodology, systematic review and meta-analysis. I also have an special interest in research for lipid and atherosclerosis. For preclinical research, I have investigated the incisional pain model, chronic pain model and various adhesion models. For clinical research, I have investigated postoperative pain, postoperative nausea and vomiting, anesthetics, analgesics and airway devices. For epidemiologic research, I have performed many systematic review and meta-analysis and published many articles related to research methodology. I have been Editor in Chief of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine; Editor in Chief of Journal of Lipid and Atherosclerosis; Section Editor of Korean Journal of Pain; Editor of Medicine; Editor of Signa Vitae; Guest Editor of Medicina; Editor of Journal of Personalized Medicine; Associate editor of Systematic Review; Editorial Board of Biotechnology and bioprocess engineering. I also served as Associate Editor in Chief of Korean Journal of Anesthesiology (2021-2022). As a epidemiologists, I have a degree for Bachelor of Statistics, Master of Epidemiology and Ph. D candidate of Epidemiology. I have the certificate for survey analyst and SAS programmer. I also have a patent of platform for sample size calculation and power analysis. I have worked as statistical editor of Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Profession, Journal of minimal invasive surgery, statistical rounding member for Korean Journal of Anesthesiology. I also served as Statistical Editor of Korean J of Anesthesiology; Korean Journal of Pain; Journal of Lipid and Atherosclerosis and Korean Journal of Clinical Geriatrics and statistical consultant for Research Institute for Medicine and Pharmacy, Chung-Ang University College of Medicine and researcher of projects performed by Korea Medical Association and Health Insurance of Korea.
