Hugo Rego Campello

I am currently working as Research Associate in the School of Chemistry (University of Bristol). My main area of research is based on the chemical synthesis and biological evaluation of small molecules of pharmacological interest, principally in the area of nicotinic receptors. I am exploring the mechanism of activation, functionality and biological implications of several subtypes of nAChRs as important therapeutic targets towards the development of novel drugs to treat CNS related diseases.
