My research interest is in the ecology of microbial populations in the marine environment. I use metagenomics sequencing and bioinformatics analyses in combination to field experiments to study natural bacterial communities. My current work focuses on the processes driving the diversification of microbial intraspecific populations, through the analysis of metagenomics time series.
