Hongjun Xing was born in 1992. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in manufacturing engineering of aerospace vehicle from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2015 and 2017, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in aeronautical and astronautical science and technology with the School of Mechatronics Engineering. From 2019 to 2021, he was a visiting student with the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. His research interests include mobile manipulation, dynamic modeling, telerobotics, and compliance control.
