Hirotaka Maruyama

Hirotaka Maruyama received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electronic engineering from the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 1983 and 1985, respectively. In 1985, he joined NHK, Tokyo, and from 1988 to 1996, he worked with NHK Science and Technology Research Laboratories (STRL), Tokyo. From 1996 to 2001, he worked with the Osaka Broadcasting Station. From 2001 to 2010, he worked with NHK STRL. Since 2010, he has been working with the Shibuya Broadcasting Station. At STRL, he has been working in research and development on ultrahigh-sensitivity imaging devices and ultrahigh-speed imaging devices.
