Hiba Baroud (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in actuarial science from Notre Dame University, Notre Dame, IN, USA, in 2009, M.math. degree in actuarial science from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2011, and Ph.D. degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA, in 2011. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, with joint appointments in earth and environmental science and computer science. She is interested in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of data science, network analysis, and risk and resilience modeling with applications to critical infrastructure systems.
