Hengrui Luo

Hengrui Luo received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Statistics, The Ohio State University at Columbus, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2020. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Rice University, Houston, TX, USA. From 2020 to 2023, he was a Postdoc Researcher with the Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory at Berkeley. His research interests include Bayesian methods, (Bayesian optimization, scalable Bayesian modeling and nonparametric processes) Topological Data Analysis. (Topology of random sets, dimension reduction and functional data analysis) and high-dimensional probability (Sketching and randomized algorithms.).
