Hassan Ezzaidi

Hassan Ezzaidi (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Saguenay, QC, Canada, in 1993, 1997, and 2002, respectively. From 1997 to 2000, he worked as a Research Assistant with the Ermetis Group on several projects sponsored by the Ministry of National Defence of Canada. From 1998 to 2003, he lectured at UQAC. Since 2003, he has been a Professor of electrical and computer engineering with UQAC. He was elevated to the full professorship grade, in 2014. Since 2016, he has been the Director of the Graduate Studies in Engineering. He is the Co-Founder of the MODELE Laboratory, in 2013. His main research interests include audio signal analysis/processing, neural networks, and the design of pattern recognition systems.
