Harold Noel

Trained as a Public Health medical doctor, I work as tropical infectious diseases project manager at Santé publique France, the French National Public Health Agency. I balance my day-to-day duties between Aedes mosquito-borne viral diseases and other tropical diseases, including setting up, supporting and organizing the integrated surveillance. In the previous decade, I gained expertise in preparedness, outbreak investigation, and response to global public health threats like the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and chikungunya and Zika outbreaks in mainland France and overseas territories. Lately, I have conducted seroprevalence studies and collaborative work using mathematical modelling to document the dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 or arboviral diseases.
