Research Interests and Current Efforts My training and initial research experience has been in the area of theoretical and applied plant disease epidemiology. For more than 20 years at the University of Georgia, my efforts have focused on pathogen biology and management of diseases of fruit crops. With increasing administrative responsibilities at the departmental and college levels, I am now returning to my roots of more basic botanical epidemiology, and I welcome prospective graduate students interested in that area. I am also serving as the Coordinator for the University of Georgia’s interdisciplinary graduate certificate in Agricultural Data Science.
