Hany S. Abdo received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in mechanical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, the first master’s degree in production engineering and design from Aswan University, Egypt, the second master’s degree in material science from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Minia University, Egypt, in August 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor (on leave) with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Energy Engineering, Aswan University, and a Senior Researcher with the Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials, King Saud University. His research interests include polymer-based nanocomposites, nanomaterials (nanofibers, nanostructured), ceramic processing, biomaterials, powder metallurgy, tissue engineering, and tribology.
