I am a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of people with genitourinary (GU) cancers, including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer. Focusing on GU oncology allows me to maintain expertise in this small group of cancers and ensure that I am providing patients access to the most recent advancements in care. It is important to me to get to know my patients as individuals and learn what is important to them, including their interests, goals, and the people that are most important in their lives. I strive to be a partner with my patients to help them evaluate all available treatment options and make an informed decision about the approach that is best for them. I am a native North Carolinian and am grateful for the opportunity to work with a world class team at Duke, providing cancer care in my home state. Outside of medicine, I enjoy being active outdoors, exploring Durham and the surrounding area, and spending time with my husband and our family.
