Hanady Hussien Issa received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communications from the Faculty of Engineering, Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), Egypt, in 1998, the M.Sc. degree from AAST, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2009. She worked as a Teaching Assistant at AAST. In 2016, she was the Director of the Education Planning Unit, AASTMT. In 2017, she was the Director of the Center of Excellence (COE) in Nanotechnology, AASTMT. She is currently a Professor with the Electronics and Communication Department, AASTMT. She is also the Vice Dean for postgraduate studies and scientific research for engineering college. Since 2009, she has been supervised more than 20 master’s/Ph.D. theses in areas of digital design for communication systems based on FPGA and low power design. She also coauthored more than 30 papers. Her research interests include analog/digital circuits design, VHDL-based FPGA design simulation and synthesis, and printed electronics.
