Hamidreza Hoshyarmanesh received his BSc and MSc in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Automation from Isfahan University of Technology in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran in Feb. 2015. During the PhD program he joined MCLAB in Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea in 2012 and 2013, as a visiting researcher. He was a faculty member from 2010, deputy of research affairs, and founder of Mechatronics laboratory at Islamic Azad University, Isfahan, Iran. He was formerly the head of Robohexapod research group in Isfahan Science and Technology Town. Hamidreza joined project neuroArm in Dec. 2015 and is currently postdoctoral research fellow with the University of Calgary, Department of Clinical Neurosciences. His research interests include mechatronics, surgical robotics, haptic hand controllers, structural health monitoring, piezoelectric sensors and actuators, industrial automation, and manufacturing processes.
