个人简介
Current research projects in my lab aim to identify structural changes in the aqueous outflow pathway of ocular hypertensive animal models and human glaucomatous eyes that accounted for reduction of active outflow area and outflow facility. Our long-term goal is to determine the principal site responsible for the increased aqueous outflow resistance in glaucomatous eyes, to seek feasible methods to reverse this resistance increase, and to develop better treatment for glaucoma.
