Hasan Issa

I obtained an MSc in Bio-Nanotechnology at the University of Sheffield followed by a PhD in the Leukaemic Stem Cell group at Newcastle University. The PhD project focused on targeting leukaemic fusion genes in vivo using chemically modified oligonucleotides. My current postdoctoral work focuses on oligonucleotide delivery in vivo, gene editing in haematopoietic stem cells, and the molecular mechanisms of leukaemogenesis in Down syndrome myeloid leukaemia.
