My research interests center on the statistical and computational challenges associated with the analysis of genomic data. An active area of research is the design and implementation of software that runs on multi-core processors such as those found on graphic processing units, hence enabling researchers to feasibly make statistical inferences in problems traditionally thought to be computationally intractable.
