Guillermo Ariel Garcia

I’m currently working in three related areas: (i) Modeling agroecosystems (complex systems) to understand interactions between climate, land use and soil water (groundwater mainly) in the Argentinean Pampas. (ii) Generation of useful and practical climate information for farmers and technical advisors - “climate services”. (iii) Physiological characterization of crop response (grain yield mainly) to abiotic stresses (temperature mainly) to improved simulation capability in crop models and informed development of adaptation strategies (management and/or breeding).
