Yabin Gou

Yabin Gou received the B.S. degree in technology of computer application from Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in meteorology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2014. He is currently a Senior Engineer with the Hangzhou Meteorological Bureau, Zhejiang, China, where he is also in charge of a C-band operational polarimetric radar. His research interests include radar data quality control, precipitation microphysics, precipitation estimation and nowcasting, and comprehensive analysis of mesoscale and small-scale extreme weather events using radar measurements.
