Göran Starck

Göran Starck received the M.Sc. degree in engineering physics from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden and the Ph.D. degree in radiation physics from University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1986 and 2000, respectively. His doctoral research focused on radiation dose reduction in computerized tomography and localization accuracy in magnetic resonance spectroscopy in vivo. Since 1987 he has been with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden, where he was a Biomedical Engineer, and became a Senior Biomedical Engineer in 2000. He is an Associate Professor of radiation physics with University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg since 2008. His research interests include development of functional magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy techniques and their application in medicine.
