Gokhan Ariturk

Gokhan Ariturk (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC), The University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA, with a focus on the design of lossy, active, and acoustic-wave-based microwave filters for integrated microwave transceivers. From 2015 to 2018, he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Electromagnetic Tissue Properties Laboratory, Bilkent University, conducting research in RF hardware for high-field Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) transceivers, where he also worked on computational electromagnetics algorithms for MRI-based electrical tissue properties mapping (MR-EPT). From 2018 to 2019, he also worked as an RF Engineer at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Ankara, where he participated in the design and modeling of antennas for airborne radar systems. He is working on the design of Substrate-Integrated-Waveguide (SIW)-based tunable filters for integrated phased array antenna systems.
