Vladimirov Gleb N

Gleb Vladimirov was born in Khimki, Moscow, Russia, in 1985. He received the M.S. degree in applied physics and mathematics from the Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology in 2008 and the Ph.D. degree in chemical physics from the Institute for Energy Problems of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences, in 2011, with a focus on the applications of computer simulation in mass-spectrometry instrumentation. In 2014, he joined the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology as a Research Scientist, where he is currently a Senior Research Scientist with the Center for Life Sciences. He has authored over 20 scientific publications. He holds two patents. His research interests include the computer modeling of ion cloud behavior for the study of non-neutral plasma effects in mass-analyzers (FTICR, electrostatic traps, and orbitrap), ion accumulation and transfer devices, instrumentation (development of electrostatic trap-based mass spectrometers), mass-spectrometry imaging, and the study of natural organic matter using high-resolution mass-spectrometry.
