Giuseppe Fabrizio Turrisi

My major current interest deals with parasitoid Hymenoptera of wood-boring insects. I am mainly studying the family Aulacidae, with a worldwide approach. Topics: taxonomy, systematics, phylogeny, faunistics, functional morphology, fossil species. Further research are focused on faunistics, taxonomy, and biology of Hymenoptera from Italy, and on alien species. Other long-time research are on distribution, ecology, conservation of the Sicilian herpetofauna.
