Gitanjali Narayanan is a faculty in the Department of Clinical Psychology, National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences, Bengaluru. She is also a Consultant at the Centre for Addiction Medicine at NIMHANS and has initiated the establishment of a personality and emotions division in her department (PEDRA, personality and emotions division of research and applications). Gitanjali does research in addictive and personality disorders, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy and qualitative methods. her most recent publication is 'A Glass Half Full Not Empty: Strength-Based Practice in Persons with Substance Use Disorders.'
