My main areas of research is environmentally friendly biotechnology. I’m interested in sustainable biotechnological applications of microorganisms (e.g. production of biochemicals and recombinant proteins, biofertilizers, food-related applications, biotransformations, and plastics bioremediation), and the identification of eco-friendly biocides for the control of invasive bugs.
