Giovanni Calcagnini

Giovanni Calcagnini received the M.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 1993 and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 1997. He is a Research Director with the Department of Cardiovascular, Endocrine-metabolic Diseases and Aging of the Italian National Institute of Health, Rome, Italy. In these filed he has co-authored more than 180 conference and journal papers in these fields and serves as referee of many international journals. Since 2008, he has been a Member of the CENELEC Committee TC-106x dealing with human exposure to electromagnetic fields. His researches and interests are in the area of cardiovascular signal processing, cardiovascular medical devices and electromagnetic compatibility.
