Giorgis Isaac (PhD in Anal Chemistry), is a Principal Scientist in the Scientific Operations OMICS group at Waters Corporation, Milford, MA. He has over 10 years of experience in the area of Metabolomics and Lipidomics liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method development and various data handling informatics tools. A major analytical challenge in small molecule discovery OMICS analyses (Metabolomics and Lipidomics) is the complexity of the samples and the large datasets to be processed. Dr. Isaac current research is focused on novel analytical and informatics method development to solve these analytical challenges in Metabolomics and Lipidomics. He has authored over 30 publications, two book chapters and holds 4 United States patents.
