Georgios K. Ntinas

My research focus lies on energy saving strategies, micro-climate control and modeling in greenhouses & livestock buildings. Since 2017, I am a researcher in HAO-Demeter, IPGRB in Thessaloniki, Greece where I am performing combined research in hydroponic greenhouses (floating system) powered by RES (PV panels). In previous works, I studied a non-commercial CFD model (AUTh) and gained experience in wind tunnel experiments (AU). I have also worked with NH3 emissions in flux chambers (AU, INRA) and I have participated in a FP7 project at AUTh. Besides I am teaching "Systems Analysis as a Research Method" and “Ecophysiology: Technical Procedures and Principles of Protected Cultivation” in MSc level at TUM. My latest work deals with Carbon Footprint of greenhouse tomatoes (TUM & HAO-Demeter).
