Georgia Stamou

Georgia Stamou is an expert on the analysis of zooplankton organisms. Her research activity focuses on the development of zooplankton-based indices for the ecological quality assessment of Mediterranean lakes. As a member of Dr. E. Michaloudi’s lab, she has participated in research projects regarding the zooplankton communities of Mediterranean aquatic ecosystems (in Greece, Cyprus and Albania), the taxonomy of the rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus and the rotifer fauna of Equador.
