George Ametsitsi

George K.D. Ametsitsi, has a broad research background and interest spanning from Plant ecology to environmental science. He currently works at the Forest and Climate Change Division, CSIR-Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (FORIG) in Kumasi, Ghana. His current research sought to focus on addressing issues relating to the dynamics of the forest-savanna transition and the role of fire and edaphic factors. He is also interested in how vegetation influences micro-and regional climate.
