Georg Garnweitner

G. Garnweitner obtained the Ph.D. degree in 2005 for his work on the Nonaqueous synthesis and formation mechanisms of transition metal oxide nanoparticles at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Potsdam (Germany). Since 2007, he holds an assistant professorship for Nanoparticles and Nanocomposites at the Institute of Particle Technology, Technische Universität Braunschweig (Germany). His research interests include the tailored synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles, the stabilization and surface modification of nanoparticles for various applications, including nanocomposites and functional nanoparticle-based thin films.
