Bio
Marc Genest (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in computer engineering and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Université Laval, Quebec City, QC, Canada, in 2002 and 2004, respectively.
He joined the National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa, ON, Canada, in 2004, where he is currently a Senior Research Officer and the Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Team Lead at the Aerospace Research Center, Ottawa. His research interests include research and technology development for the nondestructive evaluation of composite and metallic materials, infrared thermography for nondestructive inspection, and signal and image processing of NDE data.
Mr. Genest is a Research Editor for the Canadian Institute for Non-Destructive Evaluation (CINDE) Journal and the Chair of the Standard Council Canada ISO/TC 135/SC 8 on thermographic testing.
