Gebrehiwot Gebreslassie received a B.Sc. degree in Applied Chemistry from Mekelle University, Mekelle, Ethiopia, in 2011 and M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, in 2013. He received PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Jimma Institute of Technology, Jimma University, Jimma, Ethiopia in 2019. Currently, He is working as Assistant Professor in Addis Ababa Science and Technology University. His research interests include heterogeneous photocatalysis, 2D materials, magnetic semiconductor materials and their environmental and energy applications.
