Gautam R. Gangasani

Gautam R. Gangasani received the undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He received the M.Phil. degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, and the M.S. degrees in computer science as well as electronics and computer control systems from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA. His prior work experience was in developing plant automation control systems and in ASIC design. Presently, he is working in the high-speed serial IO development group at IBM Microelectronics, Fishkill, NY, USA, developing serial link receivers ranging in speeds from 6 Gbps to 32 Gbps in CMOS technology. His current interests include design and modeling of analog datapath systems, high-speed decision feedback equalization, oscillators, phase-locked loops, phase interpolation, phase correction, clock and data recovery, and low-power high-speed mixed-signal CMOS circuits. He holds six U.S. patents and has authored nine technical publications. Mr. Gangasani was a recipient of the 2011 IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) Best Regular Paper Award.
