Gabor Mark Somfai

After graduating at Semmelweis University in Budapest/Hungary in 2001, I completed a PhD scholarship and ophthalmology training at my alma mater. In 2015 I have spent a year at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute as a visiting scholar at Dr. Delia DeBuc's lab with whom we have been fruitfully collaborating since 2005. I received the "Venia legendi" in 2017 at Semmelweis University. Actually I am a Spross Research Fellow at Stadtspital Zurich, leading the newly founded Zurich Oculomics Lab.
