个人简介
Gundula Piechotta studied food chemistry at the University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, from which she received the Ph.D. degree in 1999 with the analysis and evaluation of biochemical parameters as biomarker for environmental pollution in fish, which was part of a collaboration with the Federal Institute for Fisheries, Hamburg, Germany.
Since 2000, she has been working as a scientific employee at the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology, Itzehoe, Germany, in the Department of Biotechnical Microsystems. The main focus of her work is the development of sensors for continuous glucose and lactate monitoring and the development of silicon-based biosensors for array detection of proteins and toxins.
